How Barcode Scanning Works
Bartendie's scanner uses your device's camera to:

Optimizing Scan Performance
Environmental Factors
For best results, ensure:
- Adequate lighting: Barcode should be well-lit
- Stable position: Hold device steady
- Appropriate distance: 4-8 inches from barcode
- Correct angle: Slightly angled (10-15°) rather than perpendicular
- Clean lens: Keep camera lens free of smudges
- Flat surface: Flatten curved labels when possible
