What is an Event Theme?
In Bartendie, a theme defines the stylistic concept for your event, affecting:
- Cocktail selection
- Ingredient choices
- Presentation style
- Glassware recommendations
- Overall atmosphere
Creating a New Theme
From the Themes Library
- In the main menu, tap "Themes Library"
- Tap the "+" button
- Enter theme details
During Event Creation
- While creating an event, tap "Select Theme"
- Tap "Create New Theme"
Theme Components
When creating a theme, define:
Basic Information
- Name: A descriptive title for your theme
- Description: Overview of the concept
Style Elements
- Color Palette: Suggested colors for decor and garnishes
- Era/Time Period: Historical or cultural references
- Region/Geography: Location-based influences
- Mood/Atmosphere: The feeling you want to create
Drink Suggestions
- Spirit Focus: Recommended base spirits
- Flavor Profile: Suggested flavor characteristics
- Signature Ingredients: Key components that fit the theme
- Garnish Style: Decorative elements that match the theme
Using Built-in Themes
Bartendie comes with several pre-defined themes:
- Go to "Select Theme" when creating an event
- Browse categories like:
- Seasonal (Summer Patio, Winter Fireside)
- Regional (Tiki Bar, Italian Aperitivo)
- Era-based (Prohibition, 1970s)
- Event Type (Cocktail Party, Dinner Party)
Applying Themes to Events
- Open the event you want to theme
- Tap "Edit"
- Tap "Select Theme"
- Choose from your saved themes or the library
- Tap "Apply Theme"
