Proper glassware management ensures you always have the right vessels for your cocktails.

Understanding Glassware Types

Bartendie tracks various glassware categories:

  • Lowball/Old Fashioned: Short, wide glasses for spirit-forward drinks
  • Highball/Collins: Tall, narrow glasses for mixed drinks with ice
  • Coupe/Cocktail: Stemmed glasses for shaken or stirred cocktails
  • Wine Glasses: For wine-based cocktails and wine service
  • Flutes: For champagne and sparkling cocktails
  • Specialty Glasses: Copper mugs, tiki mugs, julep cups, etc.
  • Shot Glasses: For measuring and serving neat spirits

Adding Glassware to Inventory

Individual Addition

Add glasses one by one:

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Glassware"
  2. Tap the "+" button
  3. Select glass type from categories
  4. Enter details:
    • Quantity
    • Volume capacity
    • Material
    • Brand/style (optional)
  5. Add image (optional)
  6. Save to inventory

Batch Addition

Add multiple glasses at once:

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Glassware"
  2. Tap "Batch Add"
  3. Select glass types
  4. Enter quantities for each
  5. Add details for the batch
  6. Save all to inventory

Managing Glassware Sets

Creating Sets

Group related glassware:

  1. Go to "Glassware" > "Create Set"
  2. Name your set (e.g., "Tiki Collection")
  3. Add glasses to the set
  4. Specify quantities
  5. Save the set configuration

Storage Locations

Track where glasses are stored:

  1. Select a glassware item
  2. Tap "Storage Location"
  3. Assign to defined areas:
    • Main cabinet
    • Display shelf
    • Bar area
    • Storage boxes

  3. See alternatives if primary choice isn't available
